Sasquatch April 2008 - Week One
We had two very powerful weeks in the forest with our friends, the Wise Ones and their cousins the Sasquatch in April, 2008. Some of the interactions stretch believability, in that the messages we receive, come to us via unusual, shamanistic revelations using animals, trees, bouncing lights, visions and of course telepathy. These messages are transmitted at any time of day or night.
For example: while traveling in the van after a Sasquatch encounter late at night, our conversation led to stories of the white buffalo, the white Humpback whale in Australian waters and other symbolic white birds and animals. These unusual white births are believed to symbolize the beginning of the 5th World according to many of the First Nation people.
Suddenly right at that moment, in the dark on a deserted road while discussing that subject, we see something white coming towards us in the headlights. The white thing is in the distance, on the road and we strain our eyes to see what it is. As it becomes apparent it is heading directly towards our van, we slow down and stare in disbelief. It is 1:00 AM in the morning and no one is traveling this remote road in the woods at this hour. Closer and closer the apparition comes. Now in the headlights, we are breathless as we see the most beautiful thing: A pure white horse is galloping right to us.
I roll down my window, while we stop the van to avoid hitting the horse. He seems determined to come right at the vehicle. Swerving a little to avoid hitting the front of our van, he hugs the side of our vehicle and looks into the open window. He has blue eyes which shine wildly into the car, taking us in, at one glance. He then moves behind the van and returns to the front, standing in the headlights. We cannot drive ahead for fear of hurting him. He looks beautiful and wild with white mane and tail and one blue eye.
We are struck speechless as Jean-Luc tries to inch the van forward to get around the horse. He holds his ground not letting us go by. This is very strange behavior for a horse who normally would avoid headlights, the road and a vehicle.
Finally we are able to move forward at the side of the road and we pick up speed leaving the horse behind. Continuing at last on to our cabins, we say nothing as each of us tries to comprehend the significance of that beautiful image, forever imprinted in our minds.
To confirm it was not a group fantasy, the next day we are pleased to see the white horse again, still running down the road in the daylight.
Later he finds a group of horses enclosed in a pasture and he spends time with them.
Perhaps this meant nothing, but these are the kinds of things that happen when we enter a mystical space with moving lights, ET vehicles above and the Wise Ones near by. Just when we are discussing the birth of symbolic animals, one appears! It is the timing and the meaning surrounding numerous events such as these that touches us most deeply, on a level beyond our rational-cognitive reality. This is an experience of the natural world. When we merge with that world and enter a state of Oneness, we are all the messengers in unity with nature and life. It is a reality that exists around us all the time, but often it eludes us in our daily lives.
Dreamwalker, a medicine man, was walking across the plains to visit the Arapaho Nation. He carried with him his pipe. The feather tied into his long black hair pointed to the ground, marking him as a man of peace. Over the rise of a hill, Dreamwalker saw a herd of wild mustangs running toward him.
Black Stallion approached him and asked if he was seeking an answer on his journey. Black Stallion said, "I am from the Void where Answer lives. Ride on my back and know the power of entering the Darkness and finding the Light." Dreamwalker thanked Black Stallion and agreed to visit him when his medicine was needed in the Dreamtime.
Yellow Stallion approached Dreamwalker next and offered to take him to the East, where illumination lives. Dreamwalker could share the answers he found there to teach and illuminate others. Once again, Dreamwalker thanked Yellow Stallion and said he would use these gifts of power on his journey.
Red Stallion approached, rearing playfully. He told Dreamwalker of the joys of balancing work and heavy medicine with the joyful experiences of play. He reminded Dreamwalker that he could better hold the attention of those he taught when humor was integrated with the lesson. Dreamwalker thanked him and promised to remember the gift of joy.
Dreamwalker was nearing his destination. The Arapaho Nation was close at hand.
White Stallion came to the front of the herd. Dreamwalker mounted White Stallion's back. White Stallion was the message carrier for all the other horses, and represented wisdom in power. This magnificent horse was the embodiment of the balanced medicine shield. "No abuse of power will ever lead to wisdom," said White Stallion "You, Dreamwalker, have made this journey to heal a brother in need, to share the sacred pipe, and to heal the Mother Earth. You have the knowledge through humility that you are an instrument of Great Spirit. You carry the needs of the people. In wisdom, you understand that power is not given lightly but awarded to those who are willing to carry responsibility in a balanced manner."
The Shamans are healed by the visitation of the wild horses.
In understanding the power of Horse, you may see how to strive for a balanced life .. Compassion, caring, teaching, loving, and sharing your gifts, talents, and abilities are the gateways to power.
